Dr. Phillip Savage grew up in Littleton, Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree in integrative physiology from The University of Colorado in Boulder. He obtained his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his training at Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program in Denver where he performed almost 2000 surgical procedures including forefoot, reconstructive rearfoot/ankle, and trauma.
Dr. Phillip Savage joined his father, Dr. Thomas Savage, at Metropolitan Foot and Ankle Specialists in 2019 to offer comprehensive podiatric care for problems ranging from ingrown toenails and wound care to sports medicine and trauma. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is credentialed at several hospitals and surgery centers around the Denver metropolitan area including HCA HealthONE Aurora (The Medical Center of Aurora), Intermountain Health Saint Joseph Hospital, Centrum Surgery Center, OCC Surgery Center and Mile High SurgiCenter.
Dr. Phillip Savage spends his free time with his wife and two children as well as his parents, siblings, and friends. He enjoys baseball, hiking, camping, concerts, and cooking.
